09 Parkville, MO.- HMS Beagle Science Club goes on a Paleontological Dig at Park University. The young Scientists were digging for fossils at Deer park location at 6th street and Morden Road on the University Campus. Gilbert Parker, President of the Kansas and Missouri Paleontological Society, was the instructor for this activity and field trip. Most of the fossils found were plant life from the Pennsylvanian Period. The digs will be on Wednesday s weather pending.
